Summary: Tesan Elektrik is a Turkish company that offers industrial automation solutions. In addition to being a Unitronics distributor, they also integrate Unitronics PLCs in custom solutions. For one waste water application, for example, Tesan used a Unitronics Vision130 programmable logic controller to monitor and regulate the gas analysis system to prevent the build up of toxic gases.

Tesan Elektrik, based in Turkey, has over thirty years of experience providing production and engineering solutions for the industrial automation sector. They distribute a wide line of automation products, including Unitronics PLC+HMI controllers, and the also offer engineering solutions, including consultancy, implementation and technical support. One industry they have been able to successfully implement Unitronics products is for waste water and chemical analysis.

In waste water applications, the accumulation of toxic gases can be a serious problem and create a threat to people working in the industry. Using a Vision130 PLC with integrated HMI panel, Tesan was able to create a gas analysis system that alerts user to 40-point and discharge gases. Gas analysis systems are typically dedicated with fixed programming, but with Unitronics intuitive software Tesan was able to create a flexible control system that could be changed as needed. The PLC also logs daily and monthly reports to an SD card for easy record keeping and monitoring.
